Getting Started

Create an account, tour the Voice AI hub, and launch your first agent.

Welcome to Sysevo Voice AI — a platform for building AI voice agents that answer calls, make outbound calls, run calling campaigns, and have natural conversations on your behalf. This guide walks you through creating an account, finding your way around the Voice AI hub, and getting your very first agent live and taking calls.

What is Sysevo Voice AI?

Sysevo Voice AI lets you build voice agents — AI-powered callers that speak with real people over the phone or through a web widget. You design what an agent says and does, give it a phone number (or embed it on your website), and it handles conversations automatically: greeting callers, answering questions, qualifying leads, booking, transferring calls, and more.

Around the agent itself, the platform gives you everything needed to run a real voice operation:

  • Agents — the AI callers you design and deploy.
  • Campaigns — outbound calling campaigns that dial through a list of contacts.
  • Tools — actions your agent can perform mid-call (transfer, end call, call an API, etc.).
  • Knowledge Base — documents your agent can reference to answer questions accurately.
  • Phone Numbers — the numbers your agents call from and answer on.
  • Conversations — a searchable log of every call, with recordings and outcomes.
  • Voice Library — the voices your agents speak with, including custom cloned voices.
  • Wallet, Analytics & Billing — track your minutes, spend, and performance.

You don't need any coding or telephony experience. The whole platform runs in your browser with a clean, dark dashboard.

Choosing a plan

You can start completely free, or pick a paid plan when you sign up. Each plan unlocks more agents, more concurrent calls, longer call history, and more advanced features.

Creating your account

Sign-up happens on the Voice sign-up page. The page adapts to whichever plan you chose: the right-hand panel shows that plan's name, price, and feature list so you always know what you're signing up for.

There are two ways to create an account:

  1. Continue with Google — one click, no password to remember.
  2. Email & password — fill in the short form below.

Step-by-step (email sign-up)

  1. Open the sign-up page for your plan (for example, the Free sign-up, or a paid plan's sign-up).

  2. Make sure the Create account tab is selected (it's the default).

  3. Fill in the form:

    FieldNotes
    First nameRequired
    Last nameRequired
Email addressYour work email — used to sign in
    PasswordMinimum 6 characters
  4. Click the button at the bottom:

    • On Free, it reads Create free account.
    • On a paid plan, it reads Create account and continue and takes you to checkout next.
  5. By creating an account you agree to the linked Terms and Privacy Policy.

What happens next

  • Free plan: Your account is created and you're taken straight into the Voice AI hub (after confirming your email — see below).
  • Paid plan: You're sent to a secure checkout to complete your subscription. Billing is handled by Stripe; once payment succeeds you land in the hub.

Confirming your email

When email confirmation is enabled, after you sign up you'll see a Check your inbox screen showing the address you used. Open the email and click the confirmation link to verify your address and activate your account.

On the confirmation screen you can:

  • Resend confirmation email — available again after a 60-second cooldown (the button counts down, e.g. "Resend in 45s").
  • Use a different email — go back and re-enter your address if you made a typo.

Can't find the email? Check your spam/junk folder. The link sets up your account automatically — for free accounts it provisions your workspace and drops you on the Agents page, ready to build.

Signing in & resetting your password

To sign in later, open the sign-in page and switch to the Sign in tab (or use a sign-in link directly). Enter your email and password, or use Continue with Google.

Forgot your password?

  1. On the Sign in tab, click Forgot your password?
  2. Enter your email address and click Send reset link.
  3. Check your inbox — the reset link expires in 1 hour.
  4. Follow the link to set a new password, then sign in.

A tour of the Voice AI hub

Once you're in, you land in the Voice AI hub — your home for everything voice. It has three parts:

  1. A sidebar on the left for navigating between sections.
  2. A top bar showing the current section, connection status, plan usage, and billing.
  3. The main area where each section's content appears.

The hub uses a dark theme throughout. A brief "Voice AI" splash animation plays the first time you enter from elsewhere in the platform.

The sidebar — every section explained

The sidebar lists every area of the hub. You can collapse it to icons using the chevron next to the logo (click again to expand). On mobile, tap the menu (☰) icon in the top bar to open it as a panel.

If you came into Voice AI from a wider Sysevo portal, a Back to [portal] link sits at the top of the sidebar to return you. (Free Voice plans go straight to the hub and won't see this link.)

Your account menu

Your profile lives at the bottom of the sidebar in a small card showing your avatar, name, and "Voice AI". From here you can:

  • Open your profile/settings — click your avatar or the settings gear icon.
  • Sign Out — the Sign Out button signs you out and returns you to the login screen.

A dedicated Settings area (reachable from your account) holds:

  • Integrations — connect external services and MCP servers, and configure telemetry (e.g. a Langfuse public/secret key) if you want detailed call tracing.
  • Account — your account details and Usage overview.

First steps for a new client

Brand new to the hub? Here's a sensible order to get set up:

  1. Land on Agents. This is where you'll spend most of your time. A fresh account starts with no agents (or a starter draft).
  2. Create your first agent (next section) and give it a clear purpose — e.g. "Reception — answer and route calls".
  3. Pick a voice in the Voice Library so your agent sounds the way you want.
  4. Add a phone number under Phone Numbers if you want the agent to take real calls (you can also test in the browser first).
  5. Add Knowledge Base documents if your agent needs to answer questions about your business.
  6. Add Tools for actions like transferring to a human or ending the call cleanly.
  7. Top up your Wallet so you have calling minutes available.
  8. Watch Conversations & Analytics as calls come in to see how your agent performs.

Quickstart: your first agent & first call

This walkthrough gets you from an empty account to a working agent and a test call.

1. Open the Agents page

From the sidebar, click Agents. Then click New Agent to start.

2. Choose how to start

You'll see the "How would you like to start?" screen with two options. (Both create a draft — nothing is published until you deploy.)

If you pick Blank Canvas, you then Choose your default view (you can switch later inside the editor):

3. Design what your agent says

Every agent is built from a few connected steps. A blank agent starts with a sensible structure you can edit:

  • Global Node — overall rules and personality (e.g. "Be concise, friendly, and professional").
  • Start Call — the opening line ("Greet the caller warmly and introduce yourself…").
  • Main Agent — handles the caller's request and guides the conversation.
  • End Call — wraps up, thanks the caller, and hangs up.

Edit each step's instructions in plain English. Keep openings short, set clear goals, and tell the agent when to end the call.

4. Give it a voice

Open Voice Library from the sidebar, browse the available voices (filter by Gender, Use Case, Language, or Source, and star Favourites), then Assign to Agent. Want a one-of-a-kind voice? Create a custom cloned voice here too.

5. Test it

Before going live, test the agent from the browser using a web/voice test so you can hear it speak and refine the conversation. Make sure your microphone is allowed when prompted.

6. Connect a phone number

To take real calls, go to Phone Numbers:

  1. Add a telephony configuration (give it a name like "Twilio US Production" and select your provider).
  2. Add a phone number (e.g. +12025551234) with an optional label.
  3. Assign the number to your agent and, if needed, set a default outbound number and Caller ID.

7. Top up minutes

Calls consume minutes from your Wallet. Open Wallet, check your Current balance and Estimated minutes, then Add funds, buy a Minute Pack, or turn on Auto-recharge so you never run dry mid-campaign.

8. Go live & watch it work

Deploy/publish the agent. Now incoming calls (or your outbound campaign) will be handled automatically. Head to Conversations to watch calls land — filter by agent, number, or outcome, and click Listen to play recordings. Open Analytics for the bigger picture.

🎉 That's your first agent live and taking calls.

Tips & common workflows

Running an outbound campaign (Starter and above)

  1. Go to CampaignsNew Campaign.
  2. Choose the agent that will make the calls.
  3. Upload or add your list of contacts.
  4. Start the campaign — it dials through your list automatically.
  5. Track Progress and State in the campaign list, and pause/resume as needed.

The campaign table shows each campaign's Progress, Info, State (e.g. Created, Active, Paused, Completed) and When. You can rename a campaign from its row.

Giving your agent abilities with Tools

Open ToolsNew Tool and pick a type:

Tool typeWhat it does
API / WebhookMake HTTP requests to external APIs mid-call
End CallEnd the call when conditions are met
Transfer CallTransfer the caller to another phone number
CalculatorBuilt-in arithmetic during a call
MCP ServerConnect external MCP tool integrations (plan-dependent)

Tools list under Active Tools and Archived, with columns for Tool, Type, Assigned To, Status, and Actions. Assign each tool to the agents that should use it.

Helping your agent answer questions

Open Knowledge Base, upload your documents (drag-and-drop is supported), and use Manage Agent Assignments to choose which agents can reference them. The document list shows each file's Status, Size, and Uploaded date. Now your agent can answer questions grounded in your real information.

Reviewing calls

In Conversations, search by agent, number, or disposition and filter by a Date range. Each row shows the Agent, Number, Duration, and Outcome, and you can Listen to any recording that's available.

Keeping an eye on usage & billing

The Billing button (top bar) opens Usage & Billing, where you'll find Voice Minutes, Monthly Spend, Transactions, Invoices, Minute Packs, your Current Plan, Wallet, and Payment Method with auto-recharge. Use this to download invoices and manage your card.

Upgrading

When you hit a limit (agents, minutes, or a locked feature), use Upgrade to [next plan] in the plan usage dropdown, or the upgrade prompts on the relevant page. Your agents, numbers, and history all carry over.

Next steps: Explore the dedicated guides for Agents, Campaigns, Tools, Knowledge Base, Phone Numbers, Conversations, Voice Library, Wallet, Analytics, and Billing for a deep dive into each area.

Four ways to deploy an agent

Once an agent is built, there are four ways to put it to work — you can use any combination:

MethodHow it worksBest for
InboundBuy or port a phone number, assign your agent, and go live instantly. The agent answers every call 24/7.Reception, support lines, after-hours cover
Outbound campaignsUpload a contact list and your agent calls everyone on it.Lead follow-up, reminders, re-engagement
Web widgetEmbed the agent on your website with one line of code.On-site help, demos, click-to-call
APITrigger and control calls programmatically over REST, with sub-800ms latency.Custom apps, backend automations

Platform at a glance

Sysevo is a real voice platform, not "a chatbot on a phone line." A few numbers that describe the scale and responsiveness you're building on:

  • Under 800ms to first word, so conversations feel natural
  • <2s average call pickup; 99.9% uptime SLA
  • 2.4M+ calls handled for 2,000+ businesses
  • 94% average resolution rate
  • 30+ languages with no multilingual staff required
